Wildlife Park Aurach

Visit the wildlife park Aurach, located within a marvellous landscape and the main film location of our famous Hansi Hinterseer. Here, on 1.080 m altitude, at the sunny hills of the Branderhof, this unique wildlife park is located - you can find red deer, fallow deer, capricorns, moufflons, yaks from Tibet, lynx, wild boars, kangaroos, barbary apes, owls, mountain cocks and also petting animals for kids. Get really close to animals, which you can very rarely see on free hunting-grounds. Take as many pictures and video shots as you like. A beautiful hiking trail leads you via the largest deer park within Tyrol (approx. 40 ha), which is surrounded by the wildly romantic backdrop of the Kitzbüheler Alps. The main excitement is the feeding of our game animals at 2.30 pm - a nature spectacle. We also offer a playground for kids. Starting at Aurach close to Kitzbühel, a comfortable hiking trail (approx. 45 min) and a street (4 km) leads to our wildlife park.
